經文：「因我們並不是與屬血氣的爭戰（原文作摔跤；下同），乃是與那些執政的、掌權的、管轄這幽暗世界的，以及天空屬靈氣的惡魔爭戰。」（弗6:12）
說明：
保羅明言，我們的爭戰是屬靈的，不是屬血氣的。因此，我們真正的敵人是撒但及邪靈，不是政府，更不是與我們政見及立場不一樣的人。「那些執政的、掌權的、管轄這幽暗世界的，以及天空屬靈氣的惡魔」都是靈界的邪惡勢力，影響著城市及人心。
禱告重點：
1. 辨認真正的敵人是誰，不是政府或政黨的人，也不藍色或黃色陣營的人，而是「一切苦毒、惱恨、忿怒、嚷鬧、毀謗，並一切的惡毒」（弗4:31），不只在對方當中，或許也在自己裡面。請為此認罪，奉主耶穌的名切斷一切連繫並加以捆綁，也要釋放恩慈、憐憫，並互相饒恕。
2. 對社會事情大家總會有不同的看法，政見不同而談不攏是正常的，也無須強求一致。為大家學習對事不對人、立場雖迥異卻不傷關係代禱。

12/8(Sun): Expelling darkness
Scripture: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12)
Explanation:
Paul stated clearly that, we are struggling against the spiritual forces, but not against flesh and blood. Therefore, our real enemy is Satan and evil spirits, not the government, nor those people with different political views with us. Those “rulers, authorities, power of this dark world, and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” are some evil forces in the spiritual realm, which affects the city and people’s heart.
Prayer Note:
1. Identify who is our real enemy, which is not the government, nor the people from a certain political party, not even the pro-governmentalist or anti-governmentalist people. Our true enemy is “all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice”(Ephesians 4:31). These enemies live not only inside others, but also inside us. Please confess this sin. In the name of Jesus, we cut every connection with the enemies and bind the evil spirits. We release kindness and compassion, and forgiveness for each other.
2. People always have different opinion towards social affairs. We all have different political views, so it is normal when we do not share the same opinion, we do not have to pursue for uniformity in opinion. Please pray for ourselves so we can learn to judge only things but not people. Pray for the relationships with one another while we all have different political stances.
