經文：「千夫長就來問保羅說：你告訴我，你是羅馬人嗎？保羅說：是。」（徒22:27）

說明：
保羅是猶太人，又是羅馬公民。香港是國際城市，一些人擁有雙重國籍，提供了在外地的保護和方便。香港享有獨立關稅區的地位，有別於內地城市，擁有一國兩制的優勢。願香港教會利用香港的獨特身分，大大興旺宣教事工。

禱告重點：
1. 為香港一國兩制和獨立關稅區的地位得以保存代禱，叫香港的命定能發揮作用，有利教會的宣教事工發展。
2. 在英治時代出生的人都有英籍，可擁有英國海外公民護照。為一切擁有多本護照的肢體祝福禱告，如保羅一樣，在宣教事奉上為主所用。

12/18(Wed): Unique identity
Scripture: “The commander went to Paul and asked, ‘Tell me, are you a Roman citizen?’ ‘Yes, I am,’ he answered.” (Acts 22:27)

Explanation:
Paul was a Jew and a Roman citizen. Hong Kong is an international city. Some people have dual nationality, which provides protection and convenience in foreign countries. Hong Kong enjoys the status of an independent customs zone, which is different from mainland cities and has the advantage of “One country, Two systems”. May the Hong Kong church take advantage of Hong Kong ’s unique identity to greatly flourish its mission ministry.

Prayer Note:
1. Pray for the preservation of Hong Kong’s “One country, Two systems,” and independent customs zone status, so that Hong Kong’s destiny can play a role and be beneficial to the development of missions ministries in the church.
2. Those who were born in the British colonial era are British subject and can be holders of British National (Overseas) passport. Pray and bless those who have more than one passport to be greatly used by the Lord in missions, just like Paul who was a Roman citizen.
